The Melburnian

Description: A vodka martini with a dash of coffee and sugar

What was the brief?

To create a drink that reflected Melbourne. For that reason it had to have coffee in it, look stylish and taste smooth, according to creator Julian Florance, Bartender at the Money Order Office (Moo), Melbourne.

"The final prototype came about after some experimentation with different combinations of ingredients, it was actually a bit of a fluke", says Florance. The 'Melbournian' as its name suggests, is Melbourne, and according to owner Rob Baker "it even has the Yarra floating in the middle of it." How much more Melbourne can you get?
